Project goal
Embark on an atmospheric journey with the characters Kay and Gerda from H.C. Andersen's The Snow Queen.
In this immersive VR experience, users step into the perspectives of both characters to experience their challenges and emotions up close. The world was crafted visually and narratively specifically for virtual reality, resulting in a captivating and emotionally resonant storytelling experience.

Development of a coherent visual language and compositional principles that facilitate entry into the immersive world and contribute to orientation.
-Iterative Sketches & Scene Construction (2D & VR)
Visual exploration through 2D drawings and 3D tests directly in VR. Focus on scale, perspective, and spatial dramaturgy to support the story.
-Implementation in Quill
Construction and design of the 3D scenes directly in the VR space. Atmosphere, colors, and movement were used purposefully to create a poetic, accessible VR world.
-Integration of Text Elements
Incorporation of short text fragments that encourage exploration and provide additional narrative depth.
